The students at Central Christian College come from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultural settings. They come as they are to learn, grow, and experience a Christ-centered education for character. Central to the experience is a hunger for freedom, the hallmark value of the Free Methodist Church. Free to pursue, to become, and to overcome. And to experience the freedom they can only have with a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Four years ago if you told me I was going to end up in Kansas for college I probably would have laughed and said,”Yeah, nice one”. At first my journey started in Ohio, but God had other plans for me. I eventually ended up at Central and was able to build friendships and families with the community. The main relationship being with God. I never imagined I would be a follower and find a loving and gracious community within that. I thank God for leading me here and surrounding me with so much love and kindness. Through the tough battles, stress, and tears, I had a lot of joyful memories and I can’t thank my family, friends, and central staff enough. All of you are amazing! God is good! Now onto the next chapter. Thank you Central Providing the educational environment for our students to experience true freedom depends on people like you who faithfully and generously contribute to the mission and ministry of Central Christian College. With so many of our students dependent on governmental grants and loans, which are being threatened to be reduced because of our Christian mission and values, the gifts of our people are more important than ever to help us provide Christ-centered education for character.
Creating an environment where freedom can grow and be experienced is important to the well being of the college. Your gifts make this possible. Thank you for your faithful support of Central Christian College. Leonard F. Favara Jr., Ph.D. (Rev.)
President, Central Christian College of Kansas P.S. Your gift by June 30 will help us end our fiscal year on a positive note. |
